Privacy Policy
This website is run by Harriet Emily Limited (“we”, “us”). Your privacy matters to us. Here’s how we handle your information.
What we collect
- If you contact us: your name, email address and message, sent through the enquiry form or by email.
- When you visit the site: anonymous visit counts (which pages are viewed, the referring site, the country, and the type of device and browser). These figures can’t identify you.
How we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry and, if we end up working together, to arrange that work.
- To see which pages people visit, so we can improve the site.
We don’t use your details for marketing, and we don’t sell or share them with anyone else.
Who handles it for us
- Web3Forms passes enquiry form messages to our inbox.
- Google Workspace hosts our email, where your messages are kept.
- Vercel hosts the website and provides our visitor statistics.
Some of these services are based outside the UK, but they all protect your data with appropriate safeguards under UK GDPR.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any work that follows. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Cookies
This website doesn’t use cookies, and nothing is stored in your browser while you browse it. Our visitor statistics work without cookies and don’t track you from one site to another.
Our long-form videos come from YouTube. They only load when you press play, and they use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Once one is playing, YouTube may store information in your browser under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- See the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to how we use it.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can inform the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
