spiced roast nuts

If you’re craving a delicious, healthy snack, then look no further. These spiced roast nuts are so quick and simple to make – and they taste amazing! I love roasted nuts, and these are packed full of lots of incredible, different spices, which make these nuts super addictive and perfect for snacking.

I recently partnered with East End Foods – who make the best, high quality spices I’ve ever tasted. Their company has been the leading supplier of Asian foods for nearly four decades now, and I’m currently developing a 5 recipe series with them. This is the first of my recipes that I’m sharing with you, and I’m so excited to be working on this project with them! To make these spiced roast nuts, I used a combination of their paprika, chilli powder, turmeric, cumin, garlic powder, ground ginger and crushed chilli flakes to season them – so the recipe definitely has a big mixture of flavours!

To compliment the spices in the dish, I also added some pink salt to enhance the flavour and some date syrup for a touch of sweetness. The syrup also helps to bind the spices together into a paste along with some water. Then, all you have to do is mix these together, and stir in the nuts until they’re evenly covered in the paste. Then, all that’s left to do is place them into the oven and roast them for about 5 minutes. It’s such a simple snack to make, and they’re ready to eat in minutes – there’s simply no excuse for you not to make them!

These nuts also make a great addition to main recipes for some extra taste and texture, and I think they’d be great in dishes such as salads and stir fries.

I hope you enjoy the recipe!
