Hummus
serves about 6-8
Ingredients
1 400g tin chickpeas, drained
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 tbsp water
2 tbsp tahini
1 tbsp smooth peanut butter
1 large garlic clove, crushed
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin
paprika, to sprinkle on top (optional)
Method
Firstly, add the chickpeas, olive oil, lemon juice, water, tahini, peanut butter, garlic, salt and cumin into a food processor. Then, blend everything together until smooth/at your desired consistency.
When the hummus is ready, remove it from the food processor and pour it into a bowl. Then, sprinkle with some cumin and paprika to serve.
