Apple, Pear & Berry Crumble
serves about 4
Ingredients
2 apples (300g)
1 pear (150g)
1/2 cup (85g) raspberries (or other berry e.g. blueberries)
1 tbsp tiana’s cooking coconut butter, melted
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 cup (150g) granola – I used Planet Organic’s Raw Chocolate
Method
PREHEAT YOUR OVEN TO 180C / 356 F
Firstly, peel and core the apples and pear. Then, chop them into small cubes, about 1-2cm size. Then, using a fork or potato masher, mash up the raspberries. When this is done, add all of the fruit into a heatproof dish and stir together.
Next, pour the maple syrup, coconut butter and cinnamon on top. Then, stir everything together again before adding the dish into the oven. Add the crumble into the oven, and bake for about 30 minutes until the fruit has softened.
After 30 minutes has passed, remove the dish from the oven and scatter the granola on top. Then, move the crumble back into the oven and bake for a final 5-10 minutes or so, until golden. When the crumble has baked, remove it from the oven and serve.
