new year, new plans

Amongst the midst of holiday season, it can be easy to lose a grip on things and get lost in all the chaos of people preparing for their celebrations over this event filled time. As people adapt to their busy annual routines, travel and reunion with family and old friends, the world seems to enter into festive vortex – everyone steps into a parallel world of tinsel and gingerbread, forgetting who they are for a while.

These times can actually generate the perfect opportunity to step out of your normality and reflect on your years achievements. It’s also the ideal space to plan for what you would like to experience over the next 365 day cycle around the sun. What have you achieved this year? What are you proud of? Which things filled your heart? What are your goals for 2019?

Allow these next few weeks to give you the time to set your sights on what your goals for 2019 may be. Whether it’s taking the big leap and moving somewhere new, taking more time for yourself and relaxing – like booking to enjoy a Cheshire spa break, changing your lifestyle habits and taking care of your body more, or starting a new hobby you’ve always wanted to try.

I’ve had a busy year over 2018, and I’m grateful for every moment of it. This year I visited new countries, spent time in places I love, and was able to dedicate my time to projects that fill me with joy. However, I also realised I put a lot of physical strain on my body with the work that I do – so my biggest goal for the year ahead is to take greater care of my body, and make sure that I look after it in the same way that it has always looked after me.

Whatever your goals for the year ahead may be, I hope you feel inspired to go and give them a shot. I can promise you the experience will be worth it – no matter the outcome. I’ve also attached some ideas below, so let me know if any inspire your goals for the year!

I hope you have a beautiful 2019.

I’m so happy to see you are thriving, it’s been such a joy watching your journey. I had a busy and stressful 2018 and I’m looking to make time for things I love and somehow be more productive this year. I’m also going to try to take care of my body a lot more. It’s so important. Have a lovely week My Friend.
