hair at ena salon

Recently, I was fortunate enough to visit the beautiful Ena Salon, located in one of my favourite places in London, Covent Garden. The salon offers a variety of treatments ranging from hair cuts, to facials, and manicures. So, when you visit here, you can easily enjoy a completely pampering and relaxing experience.

Asides from the style, location and services offered by the Salon, one of the main things that drew me to the brand was their philosophy. Their ethos is focused on combining luxury with sustainability, and is something that really resonates with me. As you can tell from my blog, I also share similar ethics. My focus has always been to promote a quality range of content alongside my interest in helping others and caring for the planet. So, of course when I read this about Ena, I instantly knew I had to visit and experience what they have to offer.

Seeing as I’m still growing my hair (yep that’s right, I just want it that little bit longer), I decided to opt for a blow-dry. This is something I love to experience when I travel up to London, as they always prepare my look for the day ahead.

The experience began with a hair wash and head massage. My hair was washed with products by Davines in cold water. Washing in cold water improves the blood circulation in your scalp – and makes your hair shinier! I actually enjoyed the feeling of cool water, so it’s definitely something I’ll be trying at home in the future. After this, I was taken to a chair where my hair was blow dried, curled and pinned to set. A while later, my hair was released from the pins, sprayed with hair spray and shaken out to loosen the curls. Then, the look was complete!

To show you the full experience, my friend and I created a short film from my time at the salon:

…And here’s the final look!

I hope you enjoyed the piece, and let me know what you think of the look!

  1. I need friends that will follow me around, film & edit my salon trips. I’ve never knew washing hair in cold water improves blood circulation in your scalp. What girl doesn’t need hair tips.

  2. Such a cute little video Harriet! As I told you on IG, your hair looks so beautiful! I love the soft curls. I can never keep my hair that long because my hair is insanely THICK!! I usually like to keep it not too far below my shoulders, otherwise it takes over my body and I look like I’m carrying around a horse mane, lol!
