berry & watermelon smoothie

It’s been longer than expected since my last post, but I’m back here now with a new, healthy and delicious recipe! I’ve had a crazy couple of weeks, filled with change and new beginnings – but that’s what keeps life exciting! During this time, I’ve been making lots of quick and easy meals and smoothies like the one I made for this new recipe.

I love making smoothies, as I really enjoy mixing different flavours and ingredients together to make a nutritious drink that also tastes amazing. I think it’s so important to make food that’s healthy and filled with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables – but is also tasty and enjoyable. One of my absolute favourite fruits to eat is watermelon, and I decided that I would use it in my latest smoothie recipe, as I’d never really used one in a smoothie before – I normally just eat them on their own.

So, for this recipe, I combined the watermelon with a combination of different berries, some acai berry powder and some Alpro soya milk for a super berry filled drink, that tastes fruity, refreshing and delicious. I hope you enjoy the recipe!
