3 inspirational quotes

In life, I’ve often found that with a little searching, the things I need manage to appear. In times of fear or doubt, it’s easy to become worried or anxious about our lives. However, as much as you doubt yourself now, it’s incredibly likely that someone out there, past or present has gone through the exact same situation as you, and got through it. The reason why I love quotes so much, is that they can often relate to or shed light on my current situation. Whether it’s the security of knowing I’m not alone, or being able to read something written by someone who has achieved great success, quotes always manage to pick me back up.

Whether written by an artist, entrepreneur or a writer, these quotes all share the motivation I need most in my times of need. The realisation that even the greatest of minds have shared similar struggles, helps to bring reassurance and clarity into my mind. As a reminder that success is possible, no matter your current situation, I hope these quotes inspire you to keep chasing your dreams no matter how you feel about them right now.

  1. “I used to think I was the strangest person in the world but then I thought there are so many people in the world, there must be someone just like me who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways I do. I would imagine her, and imagine that she must be out there thinking of me too. Well, I hope that if you are out there and read this and know that, yes, it’s true I’m here, and I’m just as strange as you.” – Frida Kahlo

In this unique, diverse world, it can be easy to feel isolated and unrelated to anyone else. Whether we have different goals, opinions, or see the world in different ways, it’s easy to feel separated from others. It is this quote by Frida Kahlo that helps keep me going when I don’t agree with everyone else. This quote reminds me that it’s okay to feel this way, and with so many people in the world, I’m sure someone out there is likely to feel the same way as I do.

  1. “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.” ― Steve Jobs

If you’re starting a new venture, opening a business, or moving away, it can be easy to doubt it’s success – no matter how much you feel your decision is right. The future is out of our control. This quote reminds me to focus on the present and stay motivated about my current position. If you look back now, you’ll be able to find at least two dots from your past that connect you to here. Feel positive where you are stood, as your journey lead you there. Know that with the right intentions, you could look back on this day as a dot that lead to the change and happiness you desired in your life.

  1. “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, ‘I used everything you gave me.’” ― Erma Bombeck

If you’re religious or not, this quote can be applied to all walks of life. These words can remind us to use, grow and expand our talents to our fullest potential. Our time on this earth is full of possibilities, and we have every chance to take or make, that can bring our utmost success. We live in a world where you can make anything happen. Whatever your dreams are go out there and make them, try them, push them, grow them, live them. Use every urge and inclination you have in your body to live your life in the fullest way, so when it comes to its end, you can look back and feel your time here was complete.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and I’m very pleased to share it with you on here, as it is the first piece I have written for the lifestyle site, BeLimitless as their new contributor!

  1. Those are some really deep, thought provoking quotes! Think I’ll save these quotes and take a look at them from time to time for some of that feel good factor!

  2. Great quotes, indeed! I like the one from Steve Jobs the most. Or maybe it wasn’t even him. But being positive makes the world better.

Somewhere I heared a quote that struck a chord in me. I have no clue who said it though. It goes sth like this: When it comes to dreams, we pretend that we live forever, but when it comes to fears we act as if our life is on the line.

    1. Thank you Howie. Steve Jobs had such a way with words, I also really love this quote of his “Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” I will have to use it in another post! That’s a great quote too, and so true. I will have to find out who wrote it, thank you for sharing it 🙂
